Our surgery room has state of the art equipment and allows us to perform major and minor surgeries on your pet.

What To Expect After surgery
Always watch your pet for signs of continued illness or a negative change in its condition. If your pet doesnēt seem to be recovering, you should consult the veterinarian to determine whether or not your furry friend needs a different treatment plan.

The following chart is an overview of common surgical  procedures and what to expect after you bring your pet home from the hospital.

Give your pet soft food and watch for signs of eating problems

Donēt let your pet harm its stitches and watch for any complications
Orthopedics 6-8

Check bandages often and donēt let your pet walk on slippery surfaces.
Spaying 2 weeks Prevent clawing at stitches and discourage heavy exercise.
Castration
(Dog)
2 Weeks No heavy exercise and clawing, scratching or biting at stitches.
Castration
(Cat)
2 Weeks Little or no extra care is needed. Simply observe your cat for any signs of trouble.
Declawing About 
10 days
Donēt let your cat outside and do not use clay litter.
Typical Abscesses 6-8 
weeks
Your pet may have a drainage tube that requires daily flushing. Watch for problems.
